SKRIPSI : PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA MELALUI METODE BERCERITA BERJUDUL GAGAK DAN KENDI AIR PADA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI KB CERDAS BANGSA DESA KLUWAN KECAMATAN PENAWANGAN KABUPATEN GROBOGAN
This study aims to determine the effect of the storytelling
method on the development of speaking skills in early childhood at KB Cerdas
Bangsa Desa Kluwan Kindergarten, Penawangan District, Grobogan Regency. This
research is motivated by the low activity of children in language and solving a
problem at KB Cerdas bangsa. The background of this research is because the
speaking ability in KB Cerdas Bangsa Desa Kluwan Kindergarten is still low.
This approach is carried out using classroom action research (CAR). The
subjects in this study were 20 students at KB Cerdas Bangsa Desa Kluwan with
face-to-face learning methods. Data collection methods used are observation, or
discussion, and documentation. Where in each cycle 2 meetings are held.
The results showed that Gagak dan Kendi air storytelling method can
improve language skills in children, it can be seen from the Pre-cycle which only
achieved 10% success or 2 children who got the Very Good Development category
and developed as expected. After holding the first cycle, the increase in speaking
skills reached 45% or 9 children and after the second cycle it reached 90% or 18
children got the category of Very Good Developing and developed as expected.
Judging from the graph of the increase in children's speaking skills from cycle I and
cycle II, it can be concluded that the ability to speak through Gagak dan Kendi Air
storytelling method has developed 90%.
