GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY IN MANAGING THE COVID-19
PANDEMIC IN BAJULMATI VILLAGE, WONGSOREJO DISTRICT,
BANYUWANGI REGENCY’’ Pancasila And Civic Education Faculty Of
Teacher Training And Education Universitas IVET Semarang 2022.
This study aims to find out how the form of collaboration between the
government and the community in handling Covid-19 and to find out the
inhibiting factors for collaboration between the government and the community in
handling Covid-19 in Bajulmati Village, Banyuwangi Regency. The research
method used is qualitative with phenomenologhy type. The data sources used are
primary data sources and secondary data sources with 3 informants. Data
collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and
documentation. Then analyze the data using data reduction, data presentation and
drawing conclusions. The results showed that the government collaboration in
Bajulmati Village can be said to be quite effective by approaching it through
several groups, and an emotional approach that can foster a sense of concern. And
also see the positive response from the public who support and implement various
policies issued by the government. For example, the community in Bajulmati
village, Banyuwangi Regency, is mostly willing to carry out health protocols,
besides that the community is also very enthusiastic and responds well by
distributing masks, distributing hand sanitizer, and providing hand washing
facilities. It's just that the obstacle in government communication with the
community in Bajulmati Village, Banyuwangi Regency, is that there are still some
community responses that lack participation in carrying out health protocols, for
various reasons so they do not carry out health protocols even though they have
been told what the consequences of not implementing the health protocols are.
