The background of this study is the effectiveness of limited face-to-face learning
conducted at SMK Palapa Semarang in the academic year 2021/2022. The objectives
of this study are (1) to understand the planning, (2) to understand the
implementation, (3) to determine the effectiveness, (4) to identify challenges, and (5)
to explore efforts to overcome challenges in limited face-to-face learning for
Creative Product and Entrepreneurship (PKDK) subjects. This research employs a
qualitative descriptive approach. Primary and secondary data sources are utilized.
Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with
triangulation employed for data validity checks. Data analysis follows the process of
data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The findings
of this study are as follows: (1) Planning resulted in a series of activities such as
socialization, preparation of facilities, student attendance schedules, curriculum
aligned materials, methods, and instructional media. (2) The implementation of
limited face-to-face learning has proceeded well. The school has made various
preparations to ensure safety and effectiveness, including disseminating information
to parents, students, and stakeholders through various media and providing facilities
according to health protocols. (3) Limited face-to-face learning is considered more
effective as it offers interactive learning experiences, facilitates better understanding
of the material, and enhances student discipline and engagement in the learning
process. (4) Challenges identified include insufficient time for learning activities and
some students' lack of focus due to personal tasks. (5) Efforts to address these
challenges involve teachers focusing only on essential material during instructional
sessions and emphasizing practical activities to ensure students' full engagement..
