SMK Palapa Semarang implements an independent learning curriculum for
the 2022/2023 academic year which has been determined through circular letter
No.0574/H.H3/SK.02.01/2023, Following up on the Decree of the Minister of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia
Number 262/M/2022 concerning Amendments to the Decree of the Minister of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 56/M/2022 concerning
Guidelines for Curriculum Implementation in the Framework of Learning Recovery
This study aims to find out: 1. In order to find out how to plan an independent
curriculum learning in PKDK subjects at SMK Palapa Semarang; 2. In order to
find out what are the obstacles in planning an independent learning curriculum at
SMK Palapa Semarang; 3. In order to find out how the efforts made by the school
in overcoming obstacles in planning an independent learning curriculum at SMK
Palapa Semarang.
This study used qualitative methods with observational data collection
techniques, interviews and documentation. While data analysis techniques use data
collection, data reduction, data presentation, and the conclusion drawing stage.
The results showed that the planning function in the independent learning
curriculum is very important because with planning, it can make it easier to achieve
the goals to be achieved. Planning for the independent learning curriculum can be
seen through policy decisions made by the principal in preparing what will be used
in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. Teachers also play
a role in planning the independent learning curriculum by preparing learning
materials that will be used later, making materials tailored to the needs of students
while still using the guidelines of the independent learning curriculum in order to
cover all learning outcomes. Independent learning curriculum planning activities
must also be adjusted to the established educational calendar, formulating annual
programs and semester programs to facilitate teachers in learning one semester.
The preparation of RPP is also important for teachers in planning the
implementation of the independent learning curriculum to assist teachers in
carrying out learning in accordance with what is in the RPP. In every planning,
there must be obstacles that become obstacles for schools, teachers and students in
the learning process, therefore it is hoped that there will be efforts to minimize
obstacles that occur so that the planning made for the implementation of the
curriculum at SMK Palapa Semarang will be successful.
