The formulation of the problem in this study includes: How is the
condition of gross motor skills in KB Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari, Ngaringan
District, Grobogan Regency? How is the implementation of the Sunda Manda
game in improving children's gross motor skills at the Tunas Bangsa
Kalangdosari KB, Ngaringan District, Grobogan Regency? and How is gross
motor skills increased in KB Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari, Ngaringan District,
Grobogan Regency through Sunda Manda games?
This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two
cycles carried out in 3 meetings, the research process includes planning,
implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects in this study were all KB
Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari students, Ngaringan District, Grobogan Regency.
The methods used in this study were observation and documentation.
The results showed that the initial conditions of gross motor skills were in
the Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari Family Planning Program, Ngaringan District,
Grobogan Regency. This is based on the results of the pre-cycle. Based on the
data in the table above, it is known that of the 20 children studied, 25% or a total
of 5 children reached the BSH and BSB criteria in the pre-cycle. So that 25% <
85%, it can be concluded that CAR at this stage needs to be implemented. The
Sunda Manda game was declared successful in increasing children's gross motor
skills at the Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari KB, Ngaringan District, Grobogan
Regency. This is evidenced by an increase in the gross motor skills of children
who reached the completion criteria, namely BSH (Developing According to
Expectations) and BSB (Developing Very Well) in the Pre-Cycle of 5 children or
by 25%, in Cycle I Meeting 1 of 6 children or by 30%, in Cycle I of the 2nd
Meeting there were 8 children or by 40%, in Cycle II of the 1st Meeting there were
13 children or by 65%, and in Cycle II of the 2nd Meeting there were 17 children
or by 85%. The increase in gross motor skills in KB Tunas Bangsa Kalangdosari,
Ngaringan District, Grobogan Regency through Sunda Manda games can be seen
in changes in children's behavior. Initially only 5 students showed good gross
motor skills. After the application of the Sunda Manda game, children seem able
to throw things in a directed manner and perform coordinated jumping, jumping,
and running movements.
