The purpose of this study was to find out whether efforts to increase
children's emotional intelligence so that they can be confident, disciplined, and
know the rules using dance learning media at Pertiwi 2 Kindergarten Ketileng
Todanan, Blora are effective for the success of this research.
The research uses 2 cycles, in Cycle I there are 2 meetings and in Cycle
II there were 2 meetings. The actions in Cycle I and Cycle II consist of stages
planning, implementation, observation, reflection. Data obtained by observation
and documentation . Data analysis used percentage descriptive analysis.
Based on the results of the research data analysis, it can be concluded that
the increase in children's emotional intelligence increases each cycle. This shows
that dancing activities can improve fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at
Pertiwi 2 Kindergarten Ketileng, Todanan, Blora. From the table above it can be
seen the results of each cycle as follows:
The ability of the child has not yet developed (BB) Pre cycle of 13.3%, Cycle I
meeting 1 of 7%, meeting 2 of 7%, Cycle II meeting 1 of 7%, and meeting 2 of
7%.The child's ability to start developing (MB) Pre-cycle is 56.7%, Cycle I meeting
1 is 53%, meeting 2 is 260%, Cycle II meeting I is 0%, and meeting II is 0%.The
ability of children to develop according to expectations (BSH) Pre-cycle is 30%,
Cycle I meeting 1 is 40%, meeting 2 is 47%, Cycle II meeting 1 is 67%, and meeting
2 is 13%.Capabilities that are in the Very Good Developing category (BSB) during
the Pre-cycle are 0%, and in Cycle I meeting 1 are 0%, meeting 2 are 20%, , in
Cycle II meeting I are 27%, meeting 2 are 80%.Thus it can be concluded that dance
learning media can improve the emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years
at Pertiwi 2 Kindergarten Ketileng, Todanan, Blora.
