The objectives to be achieved in this study are: 1) To find out the use of used
egg tray media to increase the ability to recognize early literacy in children aged
5-6 years at the Dharma Wanita Sembungharjo 1 Kindergarten, Pulokulon
District, Grobogan Regency. 2) To find out how much the ability to recognize
early literacy has increased in children aged 5-6 years at the Dharma Wanita
Sembungharjo 1 Kindergarten, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency. 3) To find
out what changes in behavior appear in children aged 5-6 years in Dharma
Wanita Sembungharjo 1 Kindergarten, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency in
improving the ability to recognize early literacy.
Researchers in conducting this study used Classroom Action Research (CAR).
The action research that the researchers conducted took place in the Dharma
Wanita Sembungharjo 1 Kindergarten, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency.
The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years at the Dharma Wanita
Sembungharjo 1 Kindergarten, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency.
The results of the study showed: 1) Children who reached the completion
criteria, namely BSH (Developing According to Expectations) and BSB
(Developing Very Well) in the Pre-Cycle, there were 3 children or 20%, in Cycle I
Meeting 1, there were 4 children or 27%. , in Cycle I the 2nd Meeting there were 6
children or by 40%, in Cycle I the 3rd Meeting there were 8 children or by 53%,
in Cycle II the 1st Meeting there were 11 children or by 73%, in Cycle II the
Meeting In the second, there were 12 children or 80%, and in Cycle II, the 3rd
meeting, there were 13 children or 87%. 2) The teacher's performance score in the
Pre-Cycle was 40 points or 50%, in Cycle I the 1st meeting was 45 points or 56%,
in Cycle I the 2nd meeting was 51 points or 64%, in Cycle I the 2nd meeting was
51 points or 64%, in Cycle I 3rd Meeting 54 points or 68%, in Cycle II 1st
Meeting 56 points or 70%, in Cycle II 2nd Meeting 64 points or 80%, and in
Cycle II 2nd Meeting 3 of 68 points or 85%.
