SRI WAHYUNI, NPM. 2621230769. "Increasing Numeracy Recognition
Through Matching Fun Games in the form of leaves in children aged 4-5 years at
PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria Panunggalan Grobogan.". S1 PG PAUD. Faculty of
Teacher Training and Education. Ivet University Semarang. 68 Pages.
The formulation of the problems that will be carried out in this study are
1) How can the Matching Fun game in the form of leaves improve numeracy
recognition in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria
Panunggalan, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency? 2) How big is the change
in children's behavior that appears after using the Matching Fun game in the form
of leaves in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria Panunggalan,
Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency? 3) Does the implementation of the leafshaped Matching Fun game improve numeracy recognition in children aged 4-5
years at PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria Panunggalan, Pulokulon District, Grobogan
Regency?
The purpose of this study is inseparable from the existing problems,
namely 1) To describe efforts to increase the recognition of children's numeracy
numbers 1-10 at PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria Panunggalan, Pulokulon District,
Grobogan Regency with a leaf-shaped Matching Fun game. 2) To determine
changes in children's behavior in the implementation of the Matching Fun game
in the form of leaves in children aged 4-5 years at POS PAUD Taman Ceria
Panunggalan, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency. 3) To study the increase in
the introduction of numeracy through the Matching Fun game in the form of
leaves in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD PAUD Taman Ceria Panunggalan,
Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency
The application through Matching Fun games can improve the ability to
recognize numeracy in children as evidenced by the average percentage results in
the pre-cycle achieved 50%, in cycle 1 obtained 75% and in cycle 2 obtained
88%. Thus it has exceeded the predetermined success indicators. Improving the
ability to recognize numeracy using Matching Fun from the difference in the
scores of children's abilities in pre-cycle and cycle 2, namely 88 - 50 = 38%.
There is a change in behavior in children through Matching Fun in improving the
ability to recognize numbers 1-10 as seen from increasing the activity of children
from 80% cycle 1 to 94% cycle 2. Supported by teacher performance which
increases in cycle 1, the score is 88% increases in cycle 2 to 97%.
Thus it can be seen to what extent the increase in numeracy recognition
skills in children has been achieved after being stimulated with the Matching Fun
game.
