Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency PG PAUD, Faculty of Teacher Training
and Education, IVET University, 2023.
The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in fine motor
skills through magic sand media in children aged 3 to 4 years in the Tabularasa I
Playgroup, Addrejo Village, Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency.
Classroom Action Research (CAR) using 2 cycles, each cycle consisting
of 2 meetings which contain the stages of planning, implementing, observing and
reflecting. The subjects of this study were students in the Tabularasa I Playgroup,
Addrejo Village, Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency. totaling 20 children.
Conclusion: (a) With magic sand playing activities, children's motor
skills increase, the percentage of children's motor skills before action is 50.7%
increasing to 75% in cycle I increasing to 96.9% in cycle II. Implementation of
the learning process through playing with magic sand can improve teacher
performance effectively. The teacher's performance in the learning process
carried out in the first cycle of the 1st meeting, the total score obtained was Good,
then it increased from the 2nd meeting to the 2nd cycle, which was very good.
