At the beginning of learning, educational institutions always introduce
students to the school’s state so that students can adjust well. The first service
given by the teacher was the orientation service. Therefore, this study aimed to
determine a positive and significant relationship between orientation service and
self-adjustment on seventh-grade students at Daarul Qur'an Junior High School
Ungaran in the academic year 2021/2022 which has a dormitory system.
In this study, the researcher used a quantitative method with the
descriptive and correlation approach. This research includes ex post facto
research. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis formula,
and correlation analysis by using the Pearson product-moment correlation
coefficient with the help of SPSS 18.0 version for windows.
The results of the study show that the students have a very high category
in service orientation understanding and a high category in self-adjustment. So,
there was a positive and significant relationship between orientation service and
self-adjustment in seventh-grade students of Darul Qur'an Junior High School
Ungaran in The Academic Year 2021/2022 with a moderate correlation category.
